


PS: I have managed to uninstall the phone app using CCleaner, and to reinstall it. I just want a solution.ĭoes anybody have an idea of what might be causing the problem? I am not willing to format the PC and have to spend hours installing the software again and customizing everything to my taste again. That is just bad advice it means that Microsoft has no idea of what is causing the problem and wants the user to erase everything, including the problem itself. I read some advice from a Microsoft employee in an Internet forum suggesting the user to format the PC and reinstall Windows. I tried to reboot, and it does not work either. I tried to terminate, repair, and restore the app, with no success at all (no option to reinstall).

My Galaxy S20 Plus, as well as other devices, connect seamlessly with my LG Gram laptop, but none of them is able to connect to the PC. It seems obvious to me that the problem here is my Windows PC.

There is just a message on the Windows app asking me to launch the Your Phone companion app in the phone and to connect, and it stays there, stuck at 60%. If I read the QR code with the Galaxy, the phone recognizes it, but the desktop does nothing. However, the Windows app never asks for such code. The Galaxy S20 Plus then displays a code that is supposed to be entered on the Windows app. My Galaxy S20 Plus finds my Windows desktop, and then the Your Phone app instantly launches on Windows. I am connected to my Microsoft account, and I am using the very same wireless network. However, I simply cannot connect either of these devices to my desktop PC. My Asus ROG Phone II and my Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 also connect easily with the LG Gram. I have a Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus which connects perfectly with my LG Gram laptop. I am having trouble connecting my phone to my Windows desktop, if possible.
